Job Posting Policy

Effective September 14, 2026

Totally Qualified welcomes legitimate, clearly described job opportunities. Basic job posting is free. Every job must be reviewed before publication. This policy applies to all submissions, whether sent by a guest, an employer account or an authorized recruiter.

What a listing must include

Provide an accurate job title, company name, location or remote-work eligibility, employment type, meaningful description, a legitimate application method and a working employer contact email. Describe the actual duties and requirements. Identify any recruiter or staffing agency and be honest about whom you represent. State pay and other disclosures whenever applicable law requires them, even if a form field is optional. Clearly disclose commission-only work, contractor status and material conditions.

Prohibited listings and conduct

  • Fake jobs, nonexistent vacancies, fraudulent offers or scams, including fake-check and money-transfer schemes.
  • MLM, pyramid schemes or business-opportunity recruitment disguised as employment.
  • Charging candidates to access a job, apply, obtain an interview or secure the advertised employment; this includes disguised processing, placement, equipment or access fees.
  • Phishing, malware, credential theft, deceptive redirects and malicious application links.
  • Unlawful discrimination in job advertisements or recruitment, including unlawful restrictions based on protected characteristics under applicable federal, state or local law.
  • Misleading job titles, false pay claims, fabricated benefits, hidden conditions or other deceptive content.
  • Illegal work, unlawful goods or services, or instructions to engage in illegal activity.
  • Fraudulent data collection, harvesting applicants for unrelated purposes or requesting sensitive information under false pretenses.
  • Impersonating a company or individual, unauthorized use of their name or logo, or falsely claiming a relationship with Totally Qualified.
  • Spam, duplicate postings intended to dominate results, automated bulk submissions, harassment or content that infringes another person’s rights.

Review, removal and enforcement

Totally Qualified reserves the right to review, request evidence or clarification, reject and remove any advertisement. No visitor submission is authorized to publish automatically. Changes to a published listing also require review. We may restrict or suspend abusive accounts and submissions, preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful investigations. Moderation does not guarantee that a listing is accurate, safe or legally compliant.

We may assess the job description, company identity, contact details and application destination. We may refuse a listing when its legitimacy cannot reasonably be established. Do not attempt to bypass review by changing a listing or redirecting its application link after approval.

Duration, corrections and closure

The standard listing duration is 30 days, subject to earlier removal or closure. Close an opportunity when it is filled or withdrawn. Account holders can use the available job-management tools. To request a correction or removal otherwise, use Contact, include the job link and write from the email used for your submission. We may verify your authority before changing an advertisement. A corrected listing must remain compliant and may require a new review.

Employer responsibilities

Employers are responsible for their hiring decisions, job accuracy and compliance with applicable labor, wage, anti-discrimination, accessibility, privacy and pay-transparency requirements. Collect only applicant information that is appropriate and lawful for recruitment and protect it against misuse. Do not sell applicant data or use a job listing to build an unrelated marketing list.

Report a concern or challenge a decision

Use Report a Job if you suspect a violation. Include the listing URL and specific facts, without sending passwords, identity documents or financial information. If you believe your own listing was rejected or removed in error, contact us with the listing details and an explanation. We will review the information without guaranteeing reinstatement.

This policy works together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
