Essential functions
Cookies can maintain a session, remember a preference or support security. WordPress authentication and interface cookies are used for authorized site administration; the publication currently offers no public employer accounts or job-submission service. Cookie names can contain site-specific suffixes, and their presence depends on the features used.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 is delivered through Google Tag Manager after “Accept analytics” is selected. It measures page visits and selected interactions, including social links and successful Contact submissions, without sending form-message contents. Analytics cookies can include _ga and _ga_X889PJVWRK. Our implementation limits their duration to approximately 13 months without automatic expiry renewal; browser settings can shorten that period.
The analytics preference is stored as tq_analytics_consent_v1 in this browser’s local storage. Use “Cookie choices” on public content pages to accept or decline Analytics. Declining stops optional analytics in this browser and removes the Analytics cookies set by this implementation; it does not erase previously collected information. Clearing storage can remove saved preferences.
Advertising and consent
Google AdSense and Google Funding Choices code load on this site. Advertising technology can make requests even without a visible ad. Cookies and similar identifiers may support ad delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ads may still require storage for other purposes.
Use the Google privacy message when presented to review available advertising choices and partners. Availability can vary with location and previous choices. The analytics-only control is separate and does not turn off AdSense. You can also use Google Ads Settings and participating providers’ opt-out choices. External requests and browser controls
Google Tag Manager, fonts and other external resources can receive technical connection information when loaded, even if no cookie is stored. External sites linked from articles have their own practices. You may inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser; blocking some storage can affect sessions or preferences. Choices generally apply to the browser and device where made.
