This policy describes cookies and similar browser functions on totallyqualified.work. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies do
Cookies are small records a website asks your browser to store. They can remember a session or preference between requests. Some are removed when a browser session ends; others remain until they expire or you delete them.
Cookies used by the current site
- Login and account cookies: WordPress uses cookies to check cookie support and maintain authenticated sessions. Standard login cookies generally last two days, or up to two weeks if Remember Me is selected. Logging out removes the login cookies. These functions matter when you choose to use an account.
- Account preferences: WordPress may store interface settings for signed-in users, generally for up to one year. A short-lived editing cookie may identify the item just edited.
- Job-board session functions: WP Job Board Pro can use session cookies to track recently viewed job IDs and the job submission/update flow. These support site functions and are not advertising profiles.
Exact cookie names may include a site-specific suffix. Their presence depends on the pages and functions you use. Browser session restoration can affect when session cookies disappear.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is delivered through Google Tag Manager. Analytics is off until you choose “Accept analytics.” It measures visits, clicks on Find Jobs and Post a Job Free, clicks to our confirmed social profile, and successful Contact form submissions. It does not receive the contents of forms.
If accepted, first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_X889PJVWRK may distinguish browser visits and maintain session information. Our implementation limits these analytics cookies to approximately 13 months and disables automatic expiry renewal. Browser controls may shorten their lifetime. These are pseudonymous identifiers, not an account login.
We store your analytics choice in this browser’s local storage under tq_analytics_consent_v1 until you change it or clear site storage. Use “Cookie choices” on public content pages to accept or decline. Declining stops optional analytics on this browser and removes the Analytics cookies set by this implementation; it does not undo information previously collected. Choices apply separately to each browser and device.
Advertising and external resources
We have not enabled AdSense, advertising pixels or marketing subscription tools. Google Tag Manager delivers the cookie-choice interface and may receive technical connection information when loaded. Pages can request Google Fonts and other resources from external servers; these requests may disclose technical connection information even when no cookie is set. Following an external employer or social-network link takes you to a separate service whose cookie practices we do not control.
If we introduce advertising or a new anti-abuse service, we will update this notice and provide consent or other choices where applicable. This policy does not state that a proposed anti-bot integration is already active.
Your controls
You can inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, including limiting third-party cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login or interrupt account and submission functions. Cookie choices apply to the browser and device where you make them. Clearing cookies may also clear saved preferences.
