Effective September 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Totally Qualified handles information through totallyqualified.work, including our career and hiring guides, job board, employer accounts, contact form and job reports. “We” and “our” refer to the operator of this website under the Totally Qualified name.
Information we collect
- Account information: username, email address, securely processed authentication information and the employer profile details you provide.
- Public submissions: job descriptions, company names, logos, business contact details, application links and other fields you submit for publication. Approved job listings and employer profile fields may be visible to anyone.
- Messages and reports: your name, email address, message, reported job link and information you choose to send through our forms.
- Technical information: our hosting systems can process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security events. Cookies support login and job-board functions; see our Cookie Policy.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, government ID copies, bank or card details, medical information or other sensitive documents through our contact and reporting forms. Remove private information and location metadata from uploaded images.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, display and moderate job listings, provide search and account functions, respond to questions and privacy requests, investigate reports, prevent misuse, troubleshoot the service and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact submissions are sent to our administrative mailbox and may be retained in that mailbox. We do not use contact messages as an automatic subscription to marketing.
Public information and job applications
Only submit job and employer profile information you are authorized to make public. Public material can be copied or saved by others. Removing it from our site does not necessarily remove third-party copies. If you follow an employer’s application link or contact an employer directly, that employer handles the information you provide under its own practices. We do not control those systems. Check the employer and its privacy notice before sending an application.
When information is shared
Website administrators and service providers that support hosting, email delivery, maintenance and security may process information as needed for those functions. Public job and employer fields are shared with site visitors. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights or respond to a lawful request. We limit report details to what is needed for investigation; we cannot promise absolute confidentiality, including where disclosure is legally required.
We do not sell personal information or run advertising-based cross-site tracking as part of the current service. We have not enabled paid job listings, advertising or marketing subscriptions. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide notices or choices required by applicable law.
Optional analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand visits, clicks on Find Jobs and Post a Job Free, clicks to our confirmed social profile, and successful Contact form submissions. Analytics starts only after you choose “Accept analytics.” You can decline or change your choice using “Cookie choices” on public content pages. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using the site.
When enabled, Analytics processes pseudonymous cookie identifiers, page paths, browser/device information and interaction events. Google receives technical connection information and may derive approximate location; Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses. We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, passwords, form messages, job descriptions, or URL query strings to Analytics. A successful Contact event records that an email was sent, not its contents. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in this implementation.
Google Tag Manager delivers the measurement code and cookie-choice interface. Google may process technical information when its resources are requested. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s information about Analytics data safeguards. See our Cookie Policy for storage and choices.
External services and links
Links to employers and social networks lead to services with their own privacy policies. Pages may request fonts or other resources from external providers, which can receive technical connection information such as your IP address. The current site uses Google Fonts. Merely mentioning or linking to a social network does not mean we operate its service.
Retention and security
We retain information for the purposes described here, including account administration, responding to messages, moderation, security and applicable legal requirements. Retention varies by record and purpose; expiration of a job listing does not automatically erase account data, moderation records, email or backups. You may request deletion through Contact. Access controls and reasonable technical safeguards help protect information, but no website or email system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You can update available employer profile fields in your account and control cookies in your browser. To request access, a correction, deletion or account closure, use Contact with the subject “Privacy Request.” Include the email address associated with your account and explain your request. Do not send a password or identity document. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records.
Depending on your location and the laws that apply to our service, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information, including a right to appeal a denied request. If you disagree with our response, reply to it or submit “Privacy Appeal” through Contact. We will explain applicable limitations, such as records needed for security or legal obligations, and respond within applicable legal time limits. We do not penalize you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Children and location
The site is intended for a United States audience and is not directed to children under 13. Employer accounts are for adults who can act on behalf of the organization they represent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate. Service providers may process information outside your state or country; their locations may have different data protection rules.
Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Send privacy questions and requests through our Contact form, addressed to Totally Qualified. Our legal operator details are being finalized during pre-launch and will be added before public launch.
